Pediatric Institute (PED.I.) is a private center, that was founded in 2005 by Dr. Eliza Maglari, a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. PED.I.'s objective is to provide qualitative and specialized services (occupational, speech, oral-motor, physio, sensorimotor therapies, special education, socialization and psychological support) to children aged 0-18 years, psychological support and education to parents, along with continuing education to professionals in the areas of health and rehabilitation.

PED.I. has as a standard similar pediatric centers in the USA, where quality of services in a well-equipped facility and in a friendly and accommodating environment is a priority.

The staff of PED.I. is chosen based on the principles of sound academic education and clinical experience, excellent communication with parents and other members of the child's team, along with the principle of viewing the child as a whole. The members of our team are university or college graduates with specialization in various therapeutic approaches and  professional licences in their area of expertise. Our philosophy is that the proper evaluation and treatment for each child depends on team effort in which parents have an active and synergistic role.

The founder Dr. Dr. Dr. Eliza Maglari, OTD, OT/L, BCPis a pediatric Occupational Therapist  certified by the American Occupational Therapist Association. Ms. Maglari's has clinical experience since 1984 and has been working with infants, preschoolers, school-aged children and adolescents. She has  long teaching experience at university level and  is a lecturer of numerous seminars on  Sensory Integration, School based Occupational Therapy, Child Development and Rehabilitation, etc. She is qualified in the administration and interpretation of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT certified), Neuro-Developmental Treatment for Children and Infants  (NDT Trained), Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy and School-Based Occupational Therapy among others.

Our new center, which covers an area over 600 square meters offers :
